Hey, my name is Sophie
I’m a certified Nutritionist from Germany, living in the United States. I’m passionate about everything that includes food – cooking, reading, and of course eating.
As a mom of a wild toddler I understand we need food fast and basically all the time. Yes, sometimes I feel like a walking food store too 😀 However, we can see that as the biggest opportunity to raise our kids on a healthy diet, which minimizes processed sugar and focuses on whole foods.
The best we can do as parents is to become our healthiest selves. Because when we take care of us and are healthy and fit, we set a great example and start for our kids´ future. Eating healthy will become the new standard for your kids.
Kids don´t listen what we say, but the do what we do. We are the role models!

Measuring and counting calories is not just not sustainable, but it´s also not necessary at all! There are easy tips and tricks and with a better understanding for your body and the food that you eat - it can move mountains!

Often underrated, but really important to talk about certain food
beliefs that we always believed because we either grew up with them or
learned them growing up.
The body & mind connection is important, especially for the long-run! You need to be happy to be healthy!
Environment
There are thousands of studies that has shown that food is one of the biggest causes of climate change. The cool things is, the healthier we eat for us and our bodies, the more we do good to our planet. We don´t need 100% or nothing, we need a little bit, from all of us, together.
No Restrictions
When we restrict certain foods, we crave it even more. That´s why we are focusing on ADDING not restricting!
Cutting out whole food groups is not the way to go. The key to your health is DIVERSITY! Every food has its time and place in a healthy well-balanced diet.
What is healthy?
This is the question I asked myself about 7 years ago and I´m fascinated since! Our bodies are the most amazing thing you will ever see and still, most of us don´t see them that way.
The food that we eat has one of the biggest effects on our health! Unfortunately, we often don´t even know what to eat because food marketing is pretty great + it´s a pretty confusing topic it seems. And that´s true. I felt the same when I asked myself that question. They were too many noises and I felt overwhelmed. So I decided to learn as much as I can about nutrition to find it out myself – and that´s what I did. I have now multiple certifications and read studies and nutrition books as my night books and don´t get me started on my podcast list. Yep, you could say I´m a little obsessed with this topic. In a good way! 😉
I focused on many different directions about nutrition, different doctors, same topics – to see where the interfaces are. To realize, that no matter what health benefit you want to accomplish, everything comes back to the basics. EVERYTHING.
There is no counting or measuring involved, but a lot of understanding about your body and the food that you eat, every day.
I would love to show you how easy and fun food can be in a sustainable diet, so you will never have to diet again!
